KEY – The Energy Transition Expo, organised by the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), will return from 4 to 6 March 2026 at Rimini Expo Centre. Now in its fourth edition, the event has become a reference point for Europe, Africa and the Mediterranean basin in the fields of energy transition, innovation, and efficiency.
By positioning itself as a global hub, KEY 2026 aims to design a greener future, anticipate market needs and respond to the challenges of decarbonisation. Its mission is clear: efficiency as the real driver of the green revolution.
A hub for dialogue and innovation
The expo will once again provide a platform where energy companies, institutions, and international experts can meet and exchange ideas. The goal is to strengthen cooperation, foster partnerships, and accelerate the shift towards clean energy.
In addition to networking, KEY 2026 will present the latest technologies for reducing consumption and mitigating environmental impact, offering businesses and professionals tangible solutions for sustainability.
A comprehensive conference programme
As in previous editions, the event will feature a rich programme of conferences, training sessions and debates on the most pressing issues in the energy sector. These will provide valuable insights and professional development opportunities for all participants.
Expanding international scope
KEY 2026 will reinforce its global outlook with a focus on Europe, Turkey, and Africa, particularly North and sub-Saharan regions. Priority countries include Germany, Spain, the UK, Poland, Serbia and the Balkans.
To build momentum, the event was introduced at a three-stage international roadshow alongside Ecomondo 2025: Cairo on 8 July, Belgrade on 9 September, and Warsaw on 11 September. This underscores its commitment to fostering international collaboration.
New layout: a fully integrated Rimini Expo Centre
For the first time, KEY will occupy the entire Rimini Expo Centre, reflecting its growing importance. The exhibition will be organised into seven thematic areas, designed to be both distinct and interconnected, offering a transversal and integrated vision unique in the European exhibition landscape.
This ambitious format aims to provide greater visibility for exhibitors, more engagement for visitors, and a stronger impact on the international stage.
